Results Oriented Grant Readiness & Program Development Services
Get Grant Ready (GGR) provides grant readiness consulting and services to individuals, faith-based organizations, and grass roots organizations (including faith-based organizations, and faith-guided organizations) throughout the U.S. interested in providing public services to communities in urban, rural, and suburban community settings.
We have the right solution for you. Contact us today for a free quote. Don't be taken for a ride by a freelance grant writer, company, or website that offers to write grants for your charity WITHOUT properly vetting your organization. It's literally impossible to successful develop proposals without properly determining whether or not the prospective applicant meets some general and/or specific grant making criteria. Allow us to help your organization GET GRANT READY, and stay GRANT READY!
High-Quality Services, Integrity
High quality-service and integrity. These four simple words are the foundation of our company’s philosophy. When opening our doors in 2008, the decision was made to focus on grant writing with the vision to become a contract grant writing consulting business that works with clients on a local, national, and international scale. What we found over the past five years was that more organizations approached us that were not really ready to apply for grants, or organizations that were attempting to skirt the rules hoping they could trick someone into writing a grant for their organizations (which was often not legally incorporated) and most often pro-bono.
Things GGR will not do:
Things GGR will not do:
- We do not work pro bono. We charge an hourly or flat rate, and we do provide free quotes for your project. We offer a free 30-minute consultation, and we do maintain a clock. We select one organization or project per year to provide pro bono services to. Grant writing, grant readiness, and program/project development are hard work, and often times organizations require much more work to be "grant ready" than they actually know.
- We do not work on a contingency basis. If we offer high-quality readiness services for our clients, we expect to be compensated promptly. Due to the amount of time and resources required to assist organizations with grant readiness, we must charge our clients. We do offer a payment plan to assist those organizations with little or no unrestricted financial resources.
- We do not lie for clients, and we do not work with clients that intentionally lie to us. We absolutely do not work with organizations that intentionally fudge the truth (lie) in an effort to attempt to get grant readiness assistance. Refusing to provide hard copy information, refusing to disclose certain information (i.e. not being in good standing, incorporation date, board meetings/roster, etc) will result in the immediate cancellation of your contract, and/or a discontinuation of our services. We abhor cheating, and it will not be tolerated by Get Grant Ready and/or Kirk's Consulting Services under any circumstances. We also reserve the right to refuse to work with clients that have motives that are contrary to the grant seeking organization's mission/vision statement or a grant-making agency's funding focus area(s). You'd be surprised at the number of agencies that want a grant to supplant something they already receive funding for, or simply to fill in gaps where other organizational fundraising efforts have fallen through.
See James 3:4 (NIV) for our thoughts in regards to wrong motives and grant seeking.
